FAQ
When can I get in the hot tub?
If you have a combi-boiler and we are able to fill the hot tub with hot water from your hot tap you can use the hot tub straight away. If you have a hot water tank and immersion heater we may not be able to get your hot tub up to a usable temperature straight away. We will try our best to get it as warm as possible but there may be some heating time required. Please inform us at the point of booking if you do not have a combi-boiler. The hot tub heats 1 degree Celsius per hour. We will add the required initial dose of chlorine and other water treatments whilst we are filling the hot tub.
How much space do I need?
Our gazebos are 3m x 3m, so all packages with a gazebo require 4m x 4m to ensure that there is adequate space around that so we can tie down and secure the gazebo.
For packages without a gazebo, you need 2m diameter of space.
It is paramount that the intended space is flat and level.
What if I am not sure if my garden is suitable?
To confirm your booking with us, you must send us a photo or short video of the intended location and we will assess and advise from that.
We can also arrange a visit to assess your garden if photos and videos are not sufficient.
How do you get the equipment into my garden?
Although all of our hot tubs are inflatable, all of our equipment is very large and heavy to carry. We need van access to your rear garden, ideally via a driveway that we are able to park on.
What is your refund / cancellation policy?
You can cancel your hot tub hire booking up to 3 days before delivery time with no penalty. If you cancel within 3 days of your hire, we regrettably will not be able to rearrange an alternative date with you. If we determine the weather to be unsafe for the hire of our hot tubs and equipment we will have to book an alternative date for hire. If it is too windy to safely set up our gazebo, we can offer to set up the hot tub only with artificial grass. This is only available with our Helsinki and Monaco hot tubs. Any requests for refunds must be done so in writing via email, giving full details of why a refund is being requested.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
We can email you a gift voucher with your requirements and dates to suit any occasion. We can email the voucher to you so you can print it out and give to the recipient or we can email the voucher direct to the recipient.
Do I need an outside water point?
We usually fill up our hot tubs with your nearest indoor hot water tap. This means you can use your hot tub as soon as it is full. We have a range of adapters to suit most kitchen and bathroom taps. We can also fill up our hot tubs with outdoor cold water taps but the hot tub will then take between 24 and 48 hours to reach temperature for use.
Do I need an electric point?
The hot tub needs to be plugged into mains electric for the duration of the hire. This is to ensure the hot tub stays hot and the filtration system can keep your water safe and clean. Outside electric points need to have been installed by an electrician, or we will need to pass a cable through a window to your house plug socket.
How long does set up and collection take?
Our equipment takes approximately 2 hours to set up. We will begin filling your hot tub and then leave the hose and attachment with you. You will need to monitor the filling progress and then turn off the water once the hot tub is full. The collection process takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. You need to be present for both.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You will need to pay your full hire cost to Dan on the day of your hire.
This can be paid by cash or you can ask Dan for bank details to complete a bank transfer.
How do you clean your hot tubs?
The hot tubs are thoroughly cleaned inside and out at the beginning and end of each hire using specialist spa cleaning chemicals and chlorine. We use a new branded filter in the pump for every hire. The pumps are cleaned and flushed with chlorine at our base between every hire to ensure all the internal and external pipework is sparkling clean too.
Can the COVID-19 virus spread though hot tubs?
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that "There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs.
Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19."
Public Health England state that
"We have checked with our national leads who confirm that coronavirus would be inactivated at the levels of chlorine used in swimming pools.”
We supply all hirers with the correct levels of chlorine to inactivate viruses and kill bacteria required throughout their hire.
